Everything can be photographed. For a person who is interested in everything, this is the most attractive aspect of being a photographer.
Laura began her professional training in Southern California, where she studies Commercial Photography at Brooks Institute of Photography, earning her Bachelor of the Arts in 2010.
Upon returning to the east coast in 2011, DiMeo earned the title of Lead House Photographer for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center photographing world renowned artists such as Mel Brooks, George Clinton, Jill Scott, Tony Bennet, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings , Neil deGrasse Tyson and many more.
In addition to photographing the arts, DiMeo can be found behind the camera working in business development, fashion, portraiture, event, food, documentary, and archival film. Her talents are not limited to photo capture; extending her reach to photo retouching as well as printing.
At the end of the day, not all of the work that we do is about making money. This is where Laura finds the greatest joy in her work; photographing animal portraits for pets living in shelters, thereby, in her own way, helping the pets find their new homes.
